Validating Data

  • How do I use the GS1net Validator? What are the validation rules my data must comply with? What are the fatal errors contained in the validation rules?
    • User Guide - GS1net Validator
Your data will be processed by the GS1net Validator on its way to loading into GS1net. This document contains all the information required to access and manage the GS1net Validator.
    • Business Validation Rules
Community defined validation rules, executed on your data as it is loaded via the GS1net Validator. See which fields are affected by which rules. Unlike further validations which are executed by GS1net itself, these rules are not context specific i.e. do not take into account what data is already in your GS1net catalogue.
